“I see my path, but I don’t know where it leads. Not knowing where I’m going is what inspires me to travel it.”
Rosalia de Castro
I am trying to wrap my mind around the fact I only have 2 more weeks of work…….
Today is August 23, 2009 and in one month Greg and I will be in Mexico couch surfing with Salvidor. We will be finalizing our wedding plans and looking for a deal on a place to rent for about a month in Playa Del Carmen.
After that, honestly, we have no idea where our next destination will be…….
We may continue south, stay in the Caribbean, make our home base Florida, hop a cruise ship, explore the Southwest United States……perhaps we will meet some one with a sail boat (sorry Gail, we will watch out for pirates) or a plane…who will invite us along to their destination.
We plan on planning as we go along. We’re “flexible”……LOL…..
We will couch surf, rent, camp, time share, hotel and hostel it….
If you live out side of Michigan expect us… We will contact you.
Hopefully we can up meet for dinner or a drink, perhaps you will invite us to stay a night or two…show us your local favorite haunts…..
We will be explorers, adventurers, vagabonds, learning about this big world we live in.
I am a whirlwind of emotions, happy, sad, excited, scared….
I feel ready and unprepared….all at the same time.
It’s strange to pack up and leave behind a normal life.
Our family and friends, condo, cats, my career, we will miss them all.
the conveniences and luxuries we take for granted….
We have a lot to accomplish before we leave, a list that grows every day, sometimes it makes my head spin, other times it feels manageable…LOL…..
Today I sorted through my closet trying to practice pack for a month or more on the road….
What will I need????
We will keep you posted as we draw closer to our departure and our new “Czymple Life”
